This hand crocheted chunky cowl, scarf, is made of thick, soft, Lion Brand Landscapes Mountain Range, acrylic yarn, for warmth and style. Just slip this on over your head, for a warm cozy feeling without the bulk of a long scarf. Handmade in Vermont, by me (Elise).
For proper care, Wash by hand and lay flat to dry to protect the shape and lifespan of your cowl. Avoid harsh cleaners. Do Not machine wash.
Please note that this is a handmade item, so it is normal and expected to notice some slight variation in the color of the yarn. This adds charm and character to your handmade item.

This hand crocheted, cowl, scarf, is made of, soft, 60% cotton and 40% acrylic, medium weight yarn, with a Decorative pattern that I designed. Just slip this on over your head, for a warm cozy feeling without the bulk of a long scarf. Handmade in Vermont, by me (Elise). $45.

        This is made for a human, but I got a doggie friend to model it for me. Just for the fun of it. Thank you Bandit for being such a good model.

Farm Sanctuary

Isn't she a beauty!

Savanna is a 10 year old mini highlander cow and one of the newer residents at Merrymac Farm Sanctuary in Charlotte, where they provide abandoned farm animals with permanent, healthy homes where they can live free of abuse or cruelty, They also provide education for the local and broader communities about the well-being of animals.

Honey 

is the dappled golden angel horse at The Merrymac Farm Sanctuary in Charlotte. She is a Palomino who joined the sanctuary from a state surrender case where she was severely neglected and starved. She is believed to be in her mid-20s. It warms my heart to see how much better she is doing than when I originally met her. 

Jack

is a mini horse in his early twenties, at The Merrymac Farm Sanctuary in Charlotte.

 A few months before coming to MMFS, he lost his best friend and soulmate. He was very depressed and needing to find a new herd and place to retire. Hopefully Jack will find new friends at MMFS and be happy in the remainder of his years.

Kermit

is a sheep at The Merrymac Farm Sanctuary in Charlotte, where they provide abandoned farm animals with permanent, healthy homes where they can live free of abuse or cruelty. They also provide education for the local and broader communities about the well-being of animals. I love the sun glow on his face while he’s eating. He is a wether.

Hairy Balls Milk Weed

Gomphocarpus physocarpus, commonly known as hairy balls, balloon plant, balloon cotton-bush, bishop's balls, nailhead, swan plant, Oscar milkweed, and Family Jewels. This plant is native to southeast Africa, but it has been widely naturalized as it is often used as an ornamental plant. It’s traditionally used to produce ointments for the treatment of warts and the seeds are used in rituals. The leaves and stems produce milky latex that is toxic.

Fun Hat I Just Made

                                   Slate Grey, Hand Knit Winter Hat with Moon & Star

This extra bulky, hand knitted, ribbed with moon and star, Slate Gray Hat, is made of really soft, thick, 80% Acrylic and 20% Alpaca yarn. 

The moon and star are very soft, 78% acrylic and 22% wool. The hat feels soft and cozy.

This hat is beanie style with a generous folded over edge, so there's double thickness to keep your ears extra warm.

Wash by hand and lay flat to dry to protect the shape and lifespan of your hat.

Created in a smoke-free and scent free environment.

I say it's a medium-large hat, because there is plenty of stretch to fit either size.
